This is the most unique and amazing place. We always stay at the shack up Inn when performing in the Clarksdale Memphis area. Bill and the staff are amazing and you can't get a more Delta experience.
This place is one of a kind. The attention to details are amazing. And breakfast buffet at rust is to die for.
The cabin (Magnolia) was warm (2017 New Year's Eve weekend- very cold and windy), clean and cozy. We had a great time. Arrived late, but everything we needed was left for us next to the lobby, and we went right to our cabin and found everything in order. Even though we never saw a soul, we had everything we could want and had a great stay.
We love the Shack Up Inn! Clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff and the atmosphere can't be beat. Looking forward to going back soon! The pet policy is awesome, and one of the few places where you can bring pets!
This is a very rustic and unusual place to stay, we were there on a Wednesday and they had live music. They were very pleasant and accommodating it you needed something that wasn't in your room. Will stay again when in the area. Near many blues venues.
I have never stayed at this hotel, since I live in the same town. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a room, because of the great rates, excellent service, and the overall experience inside, including the stage for live bands. My favorite part are the 2 balconies above the bar where you watch the bands, and get out of the crowd to enjoy your evening.
