Literally the best musicians I've ever seen!!
Was down at Reds a couple of years ago,made the journey just to be in a real, true,juke joint. I'm a blues harp player from New Zealand and this was my pilgrimage,I was going there to listen,and maybe learn a little,I did,and also got to play with Bud Welch one night and a 1 hour set the next night with The Big A. I was humbled by their generosity. Quite frankly,this was my life time experience,every thing else doesn't quite measure up. If you're in the delta,go see Red!
Great food generous portions, awesome environment... Breakfast and Blues can't go wrong.
Had a fantastic evening at Red's watching Terry 'Harmonica' Bean play. Cold beer and great atmosphere.
